The Youth & Family Ministry Coordinator facilitates youth programming on Sunday mornings and on other occasions. The Coordinator joins a team of dedicated lay and clergy leaders to build connections and manage logistics for both signature and new educational opportunities. This is a part-time position; 10-12 hours/week during the school year; and work in person on Sundays from at least 8:30am-12:30pm; during the rest of the week, some work can be done remotely.
Children’s Assistants support the safety and education of young ones (ages infant through elementary) on Sunday mornings. The Children’s Assistants care for young children primarily in the nursery, and support the Sunday School teachers, staff, and families. Interest and experience in education & childcare strongly preferred.
Background checks and (paid) safety training & practices are required.
Hours: Sundays 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. & other occasional dates
The Interim Youth Choir Director will lead and organize the 2025 annual Christmas Eve Family Service and Pageant. This seasonal role involves directing the Youth Choir, coordinating Pageant rehearsals, and continuing the joyful tradition of family-focused holiday worship for children and families. The position may include the opportunity to continue as Youth Choir Director into the new year.
Event Hosts fulfill a vital role in the life of Christ Church by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities during regular and special events; interacting with members and visitors in a courteous manner; setting up and breaking down equipment; and securing the property. The primary weekly shifts are Saturdays 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. and Sundays 7:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Special events are most common on Friday and Saturday afternoons & evenings. Shifts are shared among other staff members and volunteers (no one Event Host will work every single shift.)
